| Guiseppe Tripodi, MD, DABS, FACS |
|
Dr. Tripodi received his medical degree from Universita Degli
Studi De Messina, ME Italy. He completed his residency in
General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center,
McKeesport, PA and completed surgical rotations in Cardiovascular
and Thoracic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and in Pediatric
Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Children's Hospital.
Dr. Tripodi also completed rotations in the burn unit at Mercy
Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA and in breast cancer research with
Dr. Bernard Fisher at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Tripodi is Board certified in General Surgery and is
a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons. He is also
Board certified by the American Board of Laser Surgery, the
American Operative Laparoscopy for General Surgery, and the
American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is also
certified to perform VNUS© Total Vein Care, Carotid and
Cerebral Angiography and stenting procedures with Carotid
WALLSTENT and FilterWire EZ Embolic Protection Device and
WALLSTENT Iliac Endoprosthesis Implants. Dr. Tripodi is a
member of the American College of Phlebology, the American
Hernia Society, the American Medical Association, the European
Society for Vascular Surgeons, the Laser Institute of America,
the International Society of Endovascular Specialists and
the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.

| Sahdy Macaron, MD |

After graduating from the American University of Beirut (AUB),
Beirut, Lebanon, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry,
Dr. Macaron received his medical degree from AUB. He completed
his residency in General Surgery from Yale School of Medicine
at Waterbury Hospital Health Center and at St. Mary's Hospital,
Waterbury and completed a fellowship in laparo-endoscopic
surgery at Danbury Hospital with a subspecialty in bariatric
and micro-intensive surgery.
Dr. Macaron is Board certified in General Surgery. He is
a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic
Surgeons (SAGES) and the American College of Surgeons. He
has done multiple research on redo surgery and was involved
in the advancement in hernia repair. Recently, he presented
laparoscopic component separation for incisional hernia repair
at the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
